My HOMEMADE loaf of bread! We are attempting to make our own bread every few days instead of buying it at the market. It’s delicious and only has three ingredients!

Happy Earth Day! A perfect day for my pea pods to reach the sun. Grow little pea pods, grow!
Craving a crepe! Saturday Farmers Market, where are you??
I want to put my future baby girl in this adorable dress.
Confession: I’m obsessed with decking out my kitchen. Every time I find myself on Anthropologie’s website, I fall off the wagon… This is my latest crave.
This is, by far, one of my favorite breakfasts! The combination of flavors is just magical for your taste buds. Most of the time I substitute the flax seed for wheat germ and I always buy Dannon Light & Fit Fat Free Plain Vanilla Yogurt. Perfection in the morning.
we. are. there.
It has begun! B has broken ground today on our vegetable garden box. I’m incredibly excited join the gardener’s family. Thank you sweet handy-man husband!
This man has, over the years, done extraordinary things to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention. He has stayed awake for 8 days, ran 7 marathons in 7 days, and this year, he is going to be raised onto a child abuse prevention billboard and stay up there for 7 days with nothing but water.
Find him beginning tomorrow on 9th and Front downtown.
We are in search for a good gift giving identity. We know we aren’t gift-card people and we know we aren’t send-a-card-on-time people. It’s sometimes difficult, financially, to get presents for everyone (immediate family, extended family, friends, nieces, nephews) for birthdays, weddings and christmas. That’s why I am defiantly a fan of homemade gifts, name drawing, or dollar limits. What does your family do?
Last night B and I perused the shelves of Barnes and Noble, looking for adventure travel books, a new biography to delve into, or some leather-bound classics. Unable to find what I was looking for, I asked the “help” desk for some assistance. False. There is defiantly a distinction between a book store employee and a librarian. One knows how to stack books in a straight row, knows how to work a register, how to pour coffee and answer the phone. The other knows authors, people, recommendations, reviews, subjects, and has passion. Can you guess which is which?
Despite the snowy flurries this morning, I just know spring is hidden in the air somewhere. The sun has come out and the hammock is calling me. Wishing for warmth on my face and for a pair of these shorts to enjoy it in…
My parents always used to hound me as a child to “wear your helmet” but there is just no cool way to sport one of those. Recently, B and I have been considering investing in two matching vespa scooters for when we live in an always warmer climate {snowed today} and accessorizing with one of these might just be a must.
